It attacks by teleporting beside the player, attempting to poke them, summoning its traps, and then teleporting out of existence again. As such, what's left of it is barely functional. This boss is quite old, being only the second one worked on in the game, after the Magma Worm. Although this boss is much larger than the enemy it's referencing, the developers of Risk of Rain are big Iji fans. ![]() The Pale One, subtitled Hunter of Time, is an unused boss which seems to be a reference to one of the enemies in the indie game Iji. Unfortunately the only part that was finished were the spawn and idle sprites, other than that it's just a copy of the Ancient Wisp.Īlthough it's so far from finished, it's 1 of the only 2 unused enemies that actually have a spawn card, though its spawn stats just match that of the Ancient Wisp. It's very incomplete and cannot be hit or attack the player in any way.Īn unfinished boss with a very unique design. It has a simple blinking animation as its idle, and an attack animation that flashes as if firing a laser. Has less than half the health of the normal boss variant, but is otherwise pretty much the same.Ī strange enemy which looks like some sort of yeti, only given the simple name "eye".Īlthough it looks like a standing enemy, it actually flies, circling the player like an Archer Bug. All it has is a simple walk animation.Ī smaller enemy variant of the normal Magma Worm boss. It has a 2 frame glide animation and a single frame jump sprite.Īside from the sprites, it's just a copy of the Lemurian.Īnother Lemurian clone, this one is a pretty generic slime monster. It takes only around a quarter of the amount of spawn points a normal Imp Overlord takes to spawn.Ī robot, the design of which is very similar to HAN-D. This enemy is 1 of the 2 unused enemies which actually has its own spawn card. ![]() When you compare the fake Imp Overlord's stats to the standard variant, it has about half the health and deals slightly more than half the damage. The fake Imp Overlord is identical to the normal Imp Overlord in appearance. The Suicider is an enemy which will try to chase down the enemy and detonate itself when near to attack, dealing 200% damage in a fairly small area around itself. ![]()
